Affiliated LogoAffiliated Veterinary Emergency P.C.

14085 Northline Rd., Southgate, MI. 48195 - (734) 284-1700

OUR MISSION:

The Affiliated Veterinary Emergency Clinic (AVEC) was conceived by a group of concerned veterinarians in response to our community need to provide quality emergency medical care for pets during the hours your veterinarian is normally closed or unavailable.

The AVEC is an extension of your veterinarian's practice and it's purpose is: (1) to provide continuous high quality veterinary emergency care and (2) to coordinate the medical care provided at the emergency clinic with your veterinary hospital.

To aid our staff in swift, accurate diagnosis, our facility is equipped for blood analysis, radiology, cardiac EKG's, as well as many of the more routine diagnostic procedures.

In An Emergency:

The clinic is available to all emergency cases; both referrals and walk-ins are welcomed. If possible, please phone ahead so that we may assist you in deciding the best method for handling your situation.

Veterinarians & Staff:

The veterinarians and technicians on staff have a primary interest in and commitment to emergency medical care. The AVEC is their full time occupation.

Further Therapy:

All follow-up therapy necessary for your pet will be done by your veterinarian at his/her facility. When your pet leaves our clinic, your veterinarian will receive complete information on all treatments given at the AVEC. For your pet's benefit, please follow-up as suggested.

Facilities:

The Emergency Clinic is centrally located for easy accessibility from the Downriver and Monroe areas. (See Location for map). We are a fully equipped veterinary clinic.

Fees:

Our fees are usual and customary for our community. You are encouraged to discuss any questions; treatment, medication, fees, with the veterinarian or staff on duty.

It is our policy to provide a tentative diagnosis, treatment, prognosis and estimated fee in advance of treatment. Please be aware that the estimate may vary as a result of critical care included in some life-threatening circumstances, we will make every effort to keep you appraised of the situation.

If your pet is admitted for care, a deposit will be required and the balance due, paid in full at time of discharge.

Cash, personal checks, VISA, MasterCard or Discover cards are accepted. The Emergency Service cannot extend credit.
