Dr. Hawthorne is a 1996 graduate from Michigan State University with a bachelor in Physiology, and a 2000 graduate from MSU with her Doctor’s of Veterinary Medicine. She had worked at two local general practice hospitals for over 7 years before coming to work at Affiliated Veterinary Emergency Service in 2008. Her professional interests include internal medicine and cardiology.
She is married to her wonderful husband, Brad, and they have twin daughters. They share their house with 2 cats and a goldendoodle named Tess.
